Position - Senior Video Editor
Salary - Rs.50,000 + Performance Based Incentives
About the Role
We are looking for a creative and forward-thinking Senior Video Editor to lead our editing team while producing high-quality, engaging digital content. This role requires someone who stays ahead of content trends, embraces AI-powered workflows, and can mentor editors to consistently deliver content that performs across social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day workflow of the video editing team.
- Edit high-quality short-form videos for digital platforms.
- Develop efficient editing workflows using AI tools and automation where appropriate.
- Continuously experiment with new editing styles, storytelling techniques, and trending content formats.
- Research platform trends and translate them into engaging, high-performing content.
- Review edits, provide constructive feedback, and maintain quality standards across all published content.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high creative standards.
- Build templates, presets, and editing systems that improve team productivity.
- Stay updated with emerging AI tools, editing technologies, and platform best practices.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Cap cut or Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or equivalent editing software).
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, motion graphics, sound design, and visual composition.
- Proven ability to identify and recreate trending content formats for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Experience managing or mentoring a team of editors.
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- An interest in current affairs, politics, and the evolving digital news landscape.
