Role Description The Beauty Instructor is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu. The instructor will deliver theory and practical lessons in cosmetology and beauty care, including skin care, hair care, and makeup techniques. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lesson materials, demonstrating procedures, supervising practice sessions, assessing learner performance, and providing constructive feedback. The role involves maintaining training equipment and supplies, ensuring safety and hygiene standards, and supporting learners with guidance on professional conduct and customer service. The Beauty Instructor will collaborate with the academy team to update course content, participate in evaluations, and help maintain alignment with national and international training standards.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Cosmetology and Hair Care, with practical experience in salon or beauty services.
- Proficiency in Cosmetology Education and Teaching, including lesson planning, demonstration, and learner assessment.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to model professional behavior and client interaction.
- Relevant certification or diploma in cosmetology, beauty therapy, or a related field.
- Prior experience as a beauty instructor, trainer, or senior beauty professional is preferred.
- Ability to maintain hygiene and safety standards in a training environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse learners.
- Organizational skills and reliability in managing classes, schedules, and training resources.
