IM AMBASSADOR Consultants, a UK-based international education consultancy, is expanding its Nepal team and is looking for ambitious, self-motivated, and results-driven Senior Overseas Education Counsellors to join us on commission-based basis.

With operations across the United Kingdom, Pakistan, UAE, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Nigeria, we work with universities and institutional partners worldwide, supporting students throughout their study abroad journey with ethical guidance and professional counselling.

About the Role

As a Senior Overseas Education Counsellor, you will focus primarily on generating and counselling prospective students interested in studying abroad.

Our dedicated Admissions Team will manage university applications, documentation, offer processing, and admission support, allowing you to concentrate on student recruitment and counselling.

This is an ideal opportunity for experienced counsellors who already possess strong counselling skills, an existing network, or the ability to generate quality student leads.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students regarding overseas education opportunities.
• Assess student profiles and recommend suitable universities and courses.
• Advise students on study destinations including the UK, Australia, Canada, Europe, USA, UAE, Ireland, New Zealand and other available destinations.
• Generate student enquiries through networking, referrals, social media, educational events, and other business development activities.
• Conduct counselling sessions via telephone, video calls, or in person where appropriate.
• Build long-term relationships with students and parents.
• Maintain accurate records of student enquiries and follow-ups.
• Work closely with our UK Admissions Team to ensure a seamless student experience.
• Achieve agreed recruitment targets.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for professionals who have:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in overseas education counselling or international student recruitment.
• Strong knowledge of UK admissions (essential).
• Experience with one or more additional destinations such as Australia, Canada, USA, Europe, Ireland, UAE or New Zealand is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, counselling and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to generate student enquiries and convert them into successful enrolments.
• Self-motivated, target-driven and able to work independently.
• High standards of professionalism, ethics and customer service.
