Role Description The Visual Merchandiser is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu. This position is responsible for planning and executing in-store visual layouts, including window displays, product placement, and promotional setups that align with brand guidelines and seasonal campaigns. The Visual Merchandiser will regularly refresh displays, monitor stock presentation, and collaborate with store management and sales teams to ensure merchandising supports sales and customer engagement. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing store traffic patterns, adjusting layouts for optimal visibility, maintaining merchandising standards, and coordinating with retail and marketing teams to implement campaigns on time and within guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills to collaborate with store teams and clearly present merchandising concepts.
- Hands-on experience in Retail environments with an understanding of store operations and visual standards.
- Customer Service skills to ensure displays and layouts support a positive customer experience.
- Sales awareness and the ability to link visual merchandising decisions to sales performance.
- Practical experience creating and maintaining Window Displays and in-store visual arrangements.
- Attention to detail, color coordination, and basic design sense.
- Ability to work on-site in Kathmandu, including standing for extended periods and handling light physical tasks.
- Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines for promotions and seasonal changes.
- Minimum 2 years of prior experience as a Visual Merchandiser.
- Basic proficiency with digital tools for receiving guidelines, documenting layouts, and reporting.
