The school emphasizes critical thinking, creativity, compassion, and leadership, providing a rigorous and holistic education that supports both academic and personal growth.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cleaner Helper role based in pokhara, Tallo Birauta. The Cleaner Helper will support the cleanliness and hygiene of classrooms, corridors, offices, restrooms, and common areas throughout the school day. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping surfaces, emptying trash bins, and assisting with basic maintenance tasks as directed by the supervisor. The role also involves preparing and cleaning classrooms before and after school activities, ensuring safe and tidy spaces for students and staff, and promptly reporting any repairs or safety concerns. The Cleaner Helper may assist during school events, help move furniture or supplies, and follow all health, safety, and infection control guidelines.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, use of cleaning tools and equipment, and safe handling of cleaning materials.
- Ability to follow instructions, work to a schedule, and maintain consistent standards of cleanliness.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift light to moderate loads, bend, and carry out repetitive tasks during the workday.
- Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail in maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
- Respectful, cooperative attitude when working with students, teachers, and other staff in a school setting.
- Willingness to follow health, safety, and security procedures, including proper waste disposal and hygiene practices.
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping, especially in a school or institutional setting, is an advantage but not required.
- Ability to communicate in a clear and polite manner; basic literacy skills are preferred.
