Role Description The Interview and IELTS Teacher is a full-time, on-site position based in Kathmandu. The role involves planning and delivering IELTS preparation classes, including listening, reading, writing, and speaking modules, as well as sessions focused on interview skills and confidence building. The teacher will design lesson plans, conduct classroom and one-on-one training, assign and review practice tests, provide detailed feedback, and track learner progress. Daily responsibilities also include using appropriate teaching materials, maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment, supporting learners with exam strategies, and coordinating with the academic team to ensure consistent standards of instruction.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Training skills for IELTS preparation and interview coaching.
Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning and Education skills to design structured, outcome-focused sessions.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to explain concepts clearly and guide learners of diverse backgrounds.
Relevant experience in IELTS or English language teaching, test preparation, or soft skills training is highly beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent teaching qualification, is preferred.
Certification in TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or similar programs, and prior experience in classroom management, are an added advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Kathmandu, demonstrate cultural sensitivity, and support an inclusive learning environment.
