Position: School Nurse (Full-Time)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff.
  • Monitor and manage the health of students with chronic conditions.
  • Maintain accurate student health records and medical reports.
  • Administer prescribed medications as needed during school hours.
  • Promote health education and awareness on hygiene, nutrition, and safety.
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents on student health concerns.
  • Ensure the school's infirmary is well-equipped and hygienic at all times.
Job Specification
  • Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) Nursing
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in pediatric or school health settings.
  • Good communication skills in both English and Nepali.
  • Caring, patient, and student-centered approach.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent clinical and first-aid skills.
  • Strong assessment and decision-making abilities in emergency situations.
  • Proficiency in health documentation and medical recordkeeping.
  • Basic counseling and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to educate students on health, hygiene, and wellness topics.
  • Teamwork and collaboration with school staff and parents.
  • Familiarity with child development and adolescent health issues.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
