We provide study abroad services for Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the USA, Canada, Ireland, Switzerland, and Nepal. In collaboration with Tenhill Education, we also offer UK-based diploma programs in Hospitality Management, Retail Management, and Fashion Design.
Role Description
The Academic Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Lalitpur, Kathmandu. The role involves providing individualized student counseling and career guidance to students exploring higher education options. The Academic Counselor will assist students with selecting suitable courses and institutions, including overseas study destinations, and guide them through application and documentation processes. The role includes supporting students with visa preparation, coordinating test preparation (such as pre-IELTS), and maintaining accurate records of counseling sessions and student progress. The Academic Counselor will work closely with partner institutions, participate in information sessions and outreach activities, and contribute to creating a supportive, inclusive environment for all students.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in education consultancy or student counseling.
- Ability to counsel and guide students on study abroad opportunities and career options.
- Basic knowledge of admissions, visa processes, and international education (preferred).
- Confident in public speaking and delivering presentations to large groups.
- Ability to communicate clearly and handle student inquiries professionally.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, and online applications).
- Ability to work well in a team and maintain student records.
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
