Employment Type: Full-Time
Next Education Consultancy is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable USA Counselor to guide students who wish to pursue higher education in the United States. The ideal candidate will provide end-to-end counseling, from university selection and admission guidance to visa documentation and pre-departure support, while maintaining excellent relationships with students, parents, and partner institutions.
- Counsel prospective students regarding study opportunities in the USA.
- Assess students' academic background, career goals, financial capability, and English proficiency to recommend suitable universities and programs.
- Provide accurate information on admissions requirements, application procedures, tuition fees, scholarships, and living expenses.
- Guide students through the complete application process, ensuring timely submission of applications and supporting documents.
- Assist students in preparing Statements of Purpose (SOPs), resumes, recommendation letters, and other admission-related documents.
- Support students throughout the USA student visa (F-1) application process, including DS-160 guidance, I-20 documentation, SEVIS fee procedures, and visa interview preparation.
- Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions, seminars, webinars, and promotional events to generate student enrollments.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain strong relationships with applicants and parents.
- Maintain accurate student records and update the CRM/database regularly.
- Stay updated with USA university admission policies, visa regulations, scholarship opportunities, and immigration updates.
- Coordinate with university representatives and internal departments to ensure smooth admission and visa processing.
- Achieve monthly and annual student enrollment targets while maintaining high service standards.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in USA education counseling or study abroad consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of the USA higher education system and admission process.
- Good understanding of F-1 student visa procedures and documentation.
- Excellent English communication, counseling, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet enrollment targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software is an advantage
