Job Description
Loan Processor Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end loan application process—from lodgement through to settlement.
- Structure loans using various CRM systems such as Broker Engine, Flex, Mercury, MyCRM, Infinity, and others.
- Gather, verify, and review all required financial documents.
- Conduct credit checks and validate liabilities using tools such as CCR, CashDeck, and Open Banking.
- Coordinate with borrowers, brokers, underwriters, and aggregators to address MIRs and provide additional information or documents needed for pre-approval and formal approval.
- Order property valuations and complete pricing requests.
- Prepare and submit loan applications via ApplyOnline.
- Ensure full compliance with Australian lending policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Provide excellent client service and maintain clear, timely communication throughout the loan process.
Credit Analyst Responsibilities
- Assess borrower financials, credit reports, liabilities, and all supporting documentation to determine overall creditworthiness and eligibility.
- Perform detailed risk assessments and serviceability calculations in accordance with lender policies, income types, and lending guidelines.
- Analyze complex financial scenarios, including self-employed income, PAYG variations, rental income, company/trust structures, and multiple liabilities.
- Identify potential credit issues early and recommend appropriate loan structures or mitigation strategies to strengthen the application.
- Prepare accurate, comprehensive, and well-structured lender submissions, credit summaries, support notes, and scenario recommendations.
- Review mortgage disclosures, loan application data, lender-generated documents, and compliance requirements to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations.
- Verify income documents such as payslips, tax returns, NOAs, financial statements, BAS, bank statements, and other supporting evidence to validate borrower capacity.
- Conduct lender policy checks and compare credit options to ensure the loan scenario aligns with responsible lending and best-fit lender requirements.
- Liaise with brokers, lender credit teams, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and timely resolution of queries or conditions.
- Provide professional insights and recommendations to brokers regarding credit policy interpretation, scenario structuring, and risk assessment.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of assessments, supporting documents, notes, and decision rationales to ensure audit readiness and full transparency.
