Job Description
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the hydropower sector.
- Hands-on experience working in operational hydroelectric plants of 20 MW or above.
- Strong knowledge of plant operations, grid synchronization, preventive maintenance, and electrical/mechanical systems.
- Proven ability to lead operational teams, manage shift operations, coordinate maintenance activities, and respond effectively to plant emergencies.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage overall plant operations and ensure safe, reliable power generation.
- Supervise electrical and mechanical maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with grid codes, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
- Monitor plant performance, reduce forced outages, and improve equipment reliability.
- Lead technical teams and coordinate shift operations and emergency response.
