Chef Nepal is Nepal’s dedicated culinary media platform working to promote Nepali cuisine, chefs, recipes, food culture, restaurants, gastronomy stories, and culinary talent through digital media, website content, video content, podcasts, and social media platforms.

We are looking for a creative, organized, and food-loving Content & Community Manager who can help us plan, write, manage, and publish regular content across Chef Nepal’s website and social media platforms.

The selected candidate will play a key role in building Chef Nepal’s digital presence from the ground level and will work closely with the Founder/CEO, Growth & Partnership Manager, and Video Editor/Graphic Designer.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly content calendars for Chef Nepal’s website and social media platforms.
• Plan and coordinate regular content under categories such as recipes, chef’s bio, food news, gastronomy articles, restaurant features, and food culture stories.
• Draft website content, captions, short scripts, post copy, newsletter content, and community updates.
• Coordinate daily website content planning, with a target of regular content publishing.
• Convert website articles, podcasts, chef interviews, and recipe videos into social media content ideas.
• Prepare reel/shorts concepts, hooks, captions, and posting plans.
• Manage content scheduling for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
• Engage with online communities by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries professionally.
• Forward business, sponsorship, restaurant, chef, or collaboration inquiries to the concerned team member.
• Coordinate with chefs, restaurants, content creators, podcast teams, writers, and designers when required.
• Maintain content trackers, posting schedules, and daily/weekly reporting sheets.
• Ensure all content follows Chef Nepal’s brand tone, quality, and cultural values.
• Support the Founder/CEO in organizing digital content, website updates, and campaign planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong writing skills in English and Nepali.
• Good understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
• Interest in food, Nepali cuisine, chefs, hospitality, restaurants, and culinary storytelling.
• Ability to write engaging captions, content briefs, short scripts, and article drafts.
• Basic knowledge of content planning, digital marketing, and audience engagement.
• Ability to work with deadlines and manage multiple content tasks at the same time.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Basic knowledge of Canva, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and social media scheduling tools will be an advantage.
• Prior experience in content writing, social media management, journalism, food media, hospitality, or digital marketing will be preferred.
