Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and label patient samples (blood, urine, stool, tissue, etc.) following proper procedures and also for home collection.
- Prepare and process samples for testing according to laboratory protocols.
- Perform diagnostic tests such as blood tests, biochemical analysis, and microbiological examinations.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment (e.g., microscopes, centrifuges, haematology analysers, chemistry analysers).
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of test results.
- Maintain high-quality standards by following Good Laboratory Practices
- Conduct routine calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments
- Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), biosafety protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Manage laboratory supplies, reagents, and documentation.
- Record and maintain patient reports in the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
Requirements:
- Must have completed CMLT.
- Must own a vehicle and possess a valid driving license.
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of laboratory/ Phlebotomy experience.
