Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physiotherapist role based in hospital in Balaju, Kathmandu. The Physiotherapist will assess patients’ physical conditions, review medical histories, and perform clinical examinations to identify functional limitations. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, delivering manual therapy and exercise-based interventions, and monitoring patient progress. The role also involves educating patients and caregivers about home exercise programs, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications. The Physiotherapist will document treatment sessions accurately, collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed, and uphold clinic protocols and standards of care.
Qualifications
- Relevant academic background: Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent), with current professional registration or eligibility as required.
- Clinical skills: Strong assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning abilities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitation techniques.
- Patient care: Commitment to patient-centered care, with skills in communication, empathy, and the ability to motivate and engage individuals in their recovery.
- Professional practice: Understanding of evidence-based practice, ethical standards, and clinical documentation; ability to follow protocols and maintain confidentiality.
- Collaboration and organization: Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, manage time and caseload efficiently, and adapt to a dynamic clinic environment.
- Technology and language: Comfortable using clinic management software and digital tools; strong written and spoken communication skills in English and local languages.
- Preferred experience: Prior experience in musculoskeletal, orthopedic, sports, or neuro-rehabilitation settings is an advantage; ongoing interest in professional learning and development.
