Role Description The Aesthetic Nurse is responsible for providing safe and professional aesthetic treatments and skincare procedures to clients in an on-site clinical setting in Kathmandu. Day-to-day duties include conducting client consultations, assessing skin conditions, recommending appropriate treatments, and performing procedures such as facials, chemical peels, laser treatments, and injectable therapies in accordance with medical guidelines and clinic protocols. The role involves maintaining accurate medical records, monitoring client progress, educating clients on aftercare and skincare routines, and ensuring strict adherence to infection control, hygiene, and safety standards. The Aesthetic Nurse will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, support clinic operations, and participate in continuous training on new aesthetic technologies and techniques. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing qualification (e.g., registered nurse or equivalent) with appropriate licensing to practice, preferably with additional training or certification in aesthetic or dermatological procedures.
- Demonstrated clinical skills in patient assessment, basic dermatology, skincare treatments, and safe administration of aesthetic procedures.
- Strong knowledge of infection control, hygiene protocols, and patient safety standards in a clinical environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain procedures, manage client expectations, and provide empathetic patient care.
- Ability to maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation, follow protocols, and comply with regulatory and ethical requirements.
- Comfort using clinic management systems or electronic medical records, and basic computer literacy for scheduling and record-keeping.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, adapt to new technologies, and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Prior experience in an aesthetic clinic, dermatology practice, or cosmetic medical setting is highly beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, professional appearance, and commitment to providing high-quality client service.
- Minimum 1 years of experience in related field.
