Our client, Metro Medica Pvt. Ltd. is hiring Technical Sales Engineer. The Technical Sales Engineer (Biomedical) acts as the primary technical consultant and sales lead for our diagnostic equipment portfolio. You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle in your territory—from initial technical presentation and negotiation to installation, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance of IVD analyzers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Territory Ownership: Independently manage and grow the business within the assigned territory, ensuring both sales targets and service excellence are met.
  • Technical Sales & Detailing: Conduct high-level technical presentations for Biomedical Engineers and Lab Heads, explaining the engineering specifications and clinical advantages of our equipment.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform onsite installation, preventative maintenance (PM), and emergency repairs. Use your problem-solving skills to minimize equipment downtime for clients.
  • Negotiation: Lead commercial discussions and technical bidding processes, effectively handling pricing and service contract negotiations.
  • Training: Provide comprehensive user training to laboratory staff on the proper operation and basic maintenance of the machinery.
  • CRM & Documentation: Maintain detailed service logs, installation reports, and customer interaction history to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Job Specification

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
  • Experience: Prior experience in the medical device or IVD industry is a significant advantage.
  • Skills: Strong diagnostic and "hands-on" repair skills. Ability to read circuit diagrams and understand fluidic/mechanical systems of IVD analyzers. Excellent problem-solving mindset, strong negotiation abilities, and the communication skills required to explain complex technical issues to non-technical users.
