The Robotics Instructor will design and deliver engaging robotics and STEM lessons, workshops, and hands-on lab activities for learners at different levels. Responsibilities include preparing curricula and teaching materials, setting up and maintaining robotics kits and equipment, and guiding learners through programming, building, and troubleshooting robots. The instructor will assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching methods to support diverse learning styles. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues on program development, assisting in events or competitions, and ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Robotics and STEM, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, practical manner.
- Experience in Training or teaching, including designing and delivering structured lessons or workshops.
- Proficiency in Programming relevant to robotics (e.g., block-based or text-based languages) and basic electronics concepts.
- Effective Communication skills, including the ability to engage learners, provide feedback, and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Computer Science, Education, or a related technical field preferred.
- Prior experience working with robotics kits, educational robots, or STEM education programs is an advantage.
- Ability to manage classrooms or group activities, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching and a genuine interest in inspiring young people in technology.
