Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Sales Officer to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will support the sales department in identifying potential clients, promoting software solutions, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within the corporate segment, with a primary focus on Cooperative Banks, BFIs (Development Banks, Finance Companies, and other financial sector organizations.
- Drive the full corporate sales cycle — from lead generation and cold calling to proposal submission, negotiation, and deal closure — targeting key decision-makers and procurement heads within financial institutions.
- Conduct in-depth market research to map potential BFI and cooperative clients, understand their operational needs, procurement cycles, and pain points.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of corporate prospects through structured outreach, industry networking, referrals, and participation in relevant financial sector events and forums.
- Prepare and deliver customized sales presentations, product demonstrations, and commercial proposals tailored to the specific requirements of cooperative and financial institution clients.
- Develop and nurture long-term strategic relationships with senior stakeholders, branch managers, operations heads, and procurement officers at target institutions.
- Coordinate with internal technical, product, and operations teams to design solutions that meet the compliance, security, and operational standards of BFIs and cooperatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, CRM data, client interaction logs, and account documentation.
- Prepare regular sales reports, pipeline forecasts, and account updates for senior management, highlighting progress against corporate sales targets.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities within the cooperative banking and BFI sector to identify new market opportunities.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction post-sale by coordinating smooth onboarding and acting as the primary point of contact for corporate accounts.
- Represent the company professionally in client meetings, institutional visits, and industry engagements aligned with the financial sector.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree completed in Business, Marketing, Management, IT, or a related field.
· Minimum 2 years of experience in related field
