What You’ll Do
- Leadership & Coaching: Develop and mentor engineers, support career growth, conduct regular 1:1s, and foster a culture of ownership, inclusion, and continuous learning.
- Agile Delivery: Lead and support Agile ceremonies, coach teams on Agile practices, and improve predictability, flow, and delivery quality.
- Impediment & Dependency Management: Identify and resolve blockers, manage cross-team dependencies, and remove obstacles to maintain engineering momentum.
- Planning & Execution: Oversee sprint planning, estimation, prioritization, and capacity management to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery aligned to business objectives.
- Technical Excellence: Participate in code and architecture conversations, champion best practices, and ensure quality, security, and reliability standards are upheld.
- People Leadership: Proven experience coaching and developing engineers, building an inclusive culture, and leading high‑performing teams.
- Engineering Background: 5+ years in software engineering, 2+ years as a senior or principal engineer and 3+ years managing or leading remote technical teams, with the ability to engage in technical discussions. Experience in React, C#, and Azure a plus.
- Agile Expertise: Experience working in Agile (specifically Scrum), experience running ceremonies, and the ability to drive continuous improvement and predictable delivery.
- Delivery & Planning: Skilled in sprint planning, capacity management, estimation, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex software projects.
- Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication skills, able to align cross‑functional teams, manage stakeholders, and translate technical concepts clearly.
