Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Admissions Officer role based in Kathmandu. The Admissions Officer will counsel prospective students on study options, career pathways, and suitable courses and institutions in various destinations. The role involves assessing applicants’ academic backgrounds, guiding them through international admissions requirements, and supporting them with documentation and application submissions. The Admissions Officer will maintain accurate records of inquiries and applications, follow up with students and institutions, and provide timely updates throughout the admission cycle. The position also includes collaborating with colleagues on outreach activities, attending information sessions or education fairs, and delivering high-quality customer service to students and families.


Qualifications

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to engage effectively with diverse students, families, and institutional partners.
  • Knowledge of International Admissions processes and Education systems, including entry requirements, application timelines, and documentation standards.
  • Proven Customer Service orientation, with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and problem-solving in a student-facing environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines with attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in student services or admissions.
  • Proficiency with office software and CRM or student management systems to track leads and application progress.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Fluency in English and local languages; additional language skills related to major study destinations are an advantage.
