About the Job
The Business Development Officer will be responsible for driving revenue growth for the AITC Education Program through B2B institutional partnerships and B2C student enrollments. This is a highly target centric role requiring strong sales acumen, market presence, relationship management, and conversion skills. The role offers attractive performance based incentives and bonuses aligned with individual and team achievements.
Key Responsibilities
A. B2B Business Development Institutional Partnerships
- Identify, approach, and onboard corporates, colleges, schools, training institutes, NGOs, and partner organizations for AITC education programs.
- Conduct regular market visits, meetings, and presentations to promote AITC programs.
- Develop long term partnerships and collaboration models including training, certification, bulk enrollment, CSR linked programs, etc.
- Negotiate commercial terms, MoUs, and partnership agreements in coordination with management.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensure repeat business.
- Track B2B pipeline, closures, and revenue contribution.
B. B2C Business Development Student Enrollments
- Convert qualified leads provided by the marketing team into successful enrollments.
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding AITC programs, career outcomes, and value proposition.
- Follow up on leads via calls, meetings, WhatsApp, emails, and walk ins.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly enrollment targets.
- Ensure high lead to conversion ratios and maintain CRM updates.
- Address objections professionally and close sales effectively.
C. Sales and Target Management
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets for both B2B and B2C segments.
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipelines, and performance reports.
- Work closely with marketing, academic, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution post sale.
- Continuously improve sales strategies based on market feedback and performance data.
D. Coordination and Representation
- Act as a key brand ambassador of the AITC Education Program in the market.
- Participate in education fairs, seminars, workshops, and networking events.
- Coordinate with internal teams for program delivery, onboarding, and partner support.
Key Performance Indicators KPIs
- B2B partnerships signed and revenue generated
- B2C student enrollments and conversion ratio
- Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Market outreach activities and client meetings
- Customer satisfaction and retention
Required Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field
- 1 year plus experience in sales or business development, education sector preferred
- Strong B2B and B2C sales, communication, and negotiation skills
- Target driven with proven conversion and closure ability
- Comfortable with market visits, client meetings, and student counseling
- Basic knowledge of CRM and lead management tools
