Job Overview

We are hiring a Senior Film & Photo Editor to lead post-production storytelling at Tasveer.

This role is responsible for transforming raw footage and images into cinematic, emotionally rich, and timeless stories. This is not a technical editing role. This is a storytelling role.

Role ResponsibilitiesFilm Editing

• 
  
• Edit cinematic highlight films
• Create documentary-style full films
• Build strong emotional story arcs
• Select and integrate music with narrative intention
• Use natural audio (vows, speeches, ambience) effectively
• Create teaser films and trailers
• Maintain pacing, rhythm, and emotional flow

Photo Editing & Curation

• Select and curate strong emotional photographs
• Perform color correction and grading in Lightroom
• Maintain consistent skin tones and brand aesthetic
• Retouch selected hero images when needed
• Sequence images for storytelling and albums

Social & Brand Content

• Create short-form vertical edits (Reels / Shorts)
• Produce emotional highlight clips for social media
• Maintain Tasveer’s cinematic visual identity online
• Edit BTS and promotional content when required

Workflow & Delivery

• Organize footage and project files professionally
• Maintain backup and archival discipline
• Manage revisions efficiently
• Ensure timely delivery of all projects
• Collaborate closely with shooters and creative leads

RequirementsMust-Have Skills

• Strong cinematic storytelling ability
• Excellent pacing and emotional judgment
• High attention to detail
• Strong color grading skills
• Understanding of context narratives and flow
• Ability to work under deadlines without quality loss
• Ownership mindset and professional communication

Software

Required:

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• DaVinci Resolve
• Adobe Lightroom
• Adobe Photoshop
• After Effects
• Audition

Experience

• 4+ years in video editing cinematic storytelling
• Strong portfolio demonstrating emotional storytelling (not just technical edits)

Optional Paid Test (Shortlisted Candidates)

Selected candidates will be given a test:

• Raw footage provided
• 48–72 hour turnaround

Deliver:

• 60–90 sec cinematic highlight film
• 20–30 sec social reel
