Role Description The Photographer role at Neekjob is a full-time, on-site position based in Kathmandu. The Photographer will capture high-quality images for marketing materials, website content, employer branding campaigns, and special events organized or covered by Neekjob. Daily responsibilities include planning and executing photo shoots, coordinating with internal teams and clients on concepts and shot lists, and ensuring consistent visual style aligned with Neekjob’s brand. The role involves editing and retouching photos, managing digital asset libraries, and preparing images for various online and print formats. The Photographer will also maintain equipment, stay updated on visual trends, and contribute creative ideas to enhance Neekjob’s visual storytelling.
Qualifications
  • Strong technical photography skills, including proficiency with DSLR or mirrorless cameras, lighting, and composition.
  • Experience with photo editing and post-production using tools such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop or similar software.
  • Ability to plan and execute photo shoots, including location scouting, shot planning, and collaboration with subjects and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of visual branding and marketing principles, with the ability to create images suited for digital platforms and promotional materials.
  • Good organizational skills for managing image libraries, file naming, and backups, with attention to detail and quality control.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients on-site in Kathmandu.
  • Relevant experience as a photographer in commercial, editorial, or event settings; a portfolio demonstrating previous work is required.
  • Formal training or education in photography, visual arts, media, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
