Job Overview
E-Works, a forward-thinking digital marketing agency under The Kandel Group, is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven SEO Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of search engine optimization strategies for internal brands and client portfolios. This role requires a combination of strategic planning, leadership, technical expertise, and performance management to drive sustainable organic growth, improve search visibility, and maximize digital performance.
The SEO Manager will be responsible for designing long-term SEO roadmaps, leading a team of SEO professionals, collaborating cross-functionally, managing performance metrics, and ensuring the company remains ahead of search engine algorithm updates and evolving industry trends.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
1. Strategic Planning & SEO Leadership
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business objectives and growth targets.
- Create short-term and long-term SEO roadmaps for multiple projects, websites, and business units.
- Define KPIs, performance benchmarks, and growth plans for organic traffic, rankings, lead generation, and conversions.
- Identify emerging SEO opportunities, trends, and innovations to maintain competitive advantage.
- Lead SEO forecasting, planning, and prioritization based on business impact.
2. Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage the SEO team to ensure high-quality execution and professional development.
- Assign responsibilities, monitor workloads, and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and skill development initiatives.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the SEO team.
- Collaborate with content writers, developers, designers, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented.
3. Technical & Operational SEO Management
- Oversee implementation of On-page SEO, Off-page SEO, Technical SEO, Local SEO, Mobile SEO, and International SEO strategies.
- Ensure websites are optimized for crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, user experience, and technical performance.
- Supervise technical audits, website migrations, redirects, schema markup, and SEO issue resolution.
- Monitor website architecture, internal linking structures, metadata optimization, and page performance.
- Guide implementation of SEO recommendations on CMS platforms, including WordPress and custom websites.
4. Content & Keyword Strategy
- Lead advanced keyword research, search intent mapping, and competitor analysis.
- Develop content strategies aligned with SEO objectives and target audience behaviour.
- Work closely with content teams to ensure the creation of high-performing, SEO-optimized content.
- Identify content gaps and opportunities to improve organic visibility.
5. Analytics, Reporting & Performance Optimization
- Monitor SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, and Tag Manager.
- Analyze traffic, rankings, engagement, and conversion metrics to optimize campaigns.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly SEO reports with actionable recommendations and strategic insights for management.
- Track ROI and performance impact of SEO initiatives.
6. Stakeholder & Cross-functional Collaboration
- Act as the primary SEO point of contact for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Collaborate with marketing, paid media, web development, branding, and content teams to ensure integrated digital strategies.
- Present SEO performance, strategy updates, and recommendations to senior leadership when required.
7. Industry Trends & Innovation
- Stay updated with Google algorithm changes, AI-driven search trends, SEO tools, and evolving best practices.
- Recommend and implement innovative SEO initiatives to improve search performance and competitiveness.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and market research to identify new growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an SEO Manager, Senior SEO Specialist, or similar leadership role (minimum 4–6 years of SEO experience).
- Strong expertise in technical SEO, content SEO, link building, local SEO, and analytics.
- Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, Bing Webmaster, and Google Tag Manager.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and website optimization.
- Experience managing SEO strategies across multiple websites and projects.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
- Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of WordPress, Custom CMS, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, SEO, and website performance optimization is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
