Job Summary

The Branch Fiber Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day fiber network operations at the branch level, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and team supervision. The role requires strong technical knowledge of FTTH/GPON networks along with leadership and operational management capabilities to ensure high service quality and customer satisfaction.



Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage branch-level fiber operations and technical teams.
  2. Supervise fiber installation, maintenance, and fault resolution activities.
  3. Ensure timely handling of customer technical issues and service requests.
  4. Monitor network performance and minimize downtime.
  5. Coordinate with NOC, support teams, and regional technical teams.
  6. Maintain quality standards for fiber deployment and service delivery.
  7. Ensure technicians follow company SOPs and safety procedures.
  8. Prepare daily/weekly operational reports and performance updates.
  9. Manage branch technical inventory and equipment utilization.
  10. Support expansion projects and new network deployments in the branch area.
  11. Train and guide field technicians and support staff when required.



Required Qualifications & Skills

  1. Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  2. Minimum 2–5 years of experience in ISP/Fiber Network Operations.
  3. Strong knowledge of:
  4. GPON Technology
  5. FTTH Internet Service
  6. Fiber Splicing & Troubleshooting
  7. Router/Switch Configuration
  8. Broadband and IPTV Services
  9. Good leadership and team handling skills.
  10. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  11. Ability to work under pressure and manage field operations effectively.
  12. Good communication and coordination skills.
  13. Valid two-wheeler driving license will be an added advantage.



Preferred Candidate Profile

  1. Experience working in ISP or telecommunications industry.
  2. Ability to manage technicians and field support teams.
  3. Knowledge of customer service handling and escalation management.
  4. Willingness to travel within branch operational areas if required.
