Job Description (JD)
As the Senior Accountant, you will oversee the full spectrum of financial management, from daily bookkeeping to high-level strategic reporting. Your core responsibilities include:
- Financial Oversight: Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
- Compliance & Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial statements, ensuring full compliance with Nepal Financial Reporting Standards (NFRS) and local tax regulations (VAT, TDS, and Income Tax).
- Cost Control: Monitor food and beverage costs, analyze variances, and work closely with the procurement team to optimize margins without compromising quality.
- Audit & Internal Control: Coordinate and lead the annual audit process and maintain a robust system of internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, providing actionable insights to the management team.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (CA/ACCA) are highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role. Experience in the Hospitality or F&B industry is a significant advantage.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or specialized POS-integrated systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Nepal's tax laws and labor regulations.
