Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Videographer & Video Editor to join our team. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone passionate about video production, storytelling, and content creation. The candidate should have basic hands-on experience with DSLR cameras, video shooting, production setup, and editing software. You will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing engaging video content for digital platforms, marketing campaigns, events, and brand communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate DSLR / mirrorless cameras for video shoots, interviews, events, and promotional content.
- Handle basic video production setup, including camera framing, lighting, audio, and shot composition.
- Assist in planning and executing video shoots based on creative briefs and project requirements.
- Capture high-quality footage for social media, promotional campaigns, company events, and internal content.
- Edit raw footage into polished videos using editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Add transitions, subtitles, background music, motion graphics, and basic color correction to enhance video quality.
- Organize and manage video files, raw footage, and project assets efficiently.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative team to produce engaging visual content.
- Ensure timely delivery of edited videos while maintaining quality and brand consistency.
- Stay updated with current video trends, editing styles, and social media content formats.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Media, Film Production, Multimedia, or related field.
- Basic hands-on experience in videography and video editing (internship, freelance, academic, or personal projects accepted).
- Familiarity with DSLR / mirrorless camera handling, framing, and shooting techniques.
- Basic understanding of lighting, sound setup, and video production workflow.
- Proficiency in at least one editing tool such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Basic knowledge of color correction, transitions, subtitles, and audio syncing.
- Creative eye for storytelling, composition, and visual aesthetics.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Portfolio/sample work is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics using Adobe After Effects is a plus.
- Experience creating content for social media platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn videos, etc.).
- Familiarity with tripods, microphones, and lighting equipment.
- Understanding of content trends, short-form videos, and brand storytelling.
