Job Description
ï‚
- Must have proven experience working in the cement industry, with a strong understanding of cement plant electrical systems and operations.
ï‚
- Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and components to required specifications.
ï‚
- Ensure smooth operation of electrical equipment in plant areas such as crushers, raw mills, kilns, and packing plants.
ï‚
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems including motors, drives, transformers, and switchgear.
ï‚
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
ï‚
- Monitor and optimize power consumption and ensure energy efficiency across the plant.
ï‚
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies.
ï‚
- Coordinate with mechanical and production teams for maintenance planning and shutdown activities.
ï‚
- Handle installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems.
ï‚
- Maintain proper documentation of maintenance records, reports, and technical data.
ï‚
- Supervise and guide technicians and junior engineers.
