About the Role
As a Reservation & Revenue Officer, you will be the central point for guest communications and revenue management. Working from Nepal, you will oversee the guest lifecycle from booking inquiries to check-out ensuring smooth operations, high occupancy, and excellent guest experiences. This role combines reservation handling, guest communication, and revenue optimization, making you a key contributor to both customer satisfaction and business growth.
Responsibilities
Booking & Revenue Management
- Manage room/pod availability and pricing across OTAs (Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, Hostelworld, Airbnb) and direct website.
- Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to adjust rates dynamically.
- Ensure real-time updates across all platforms to prevent overbookings.
- Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings and upsell rooms, packages, and services.
Guest Communication & Relationship Management
- Send personalized pre-arrival emails and manage special requests.
- Handle booking modifications, cancellations, and guest complaints professionally.
- Implement strategies to encourage post-stay reviews on Google and OTAs.
Social & Direct Messaging Management
- Manage direct messages on social platforms (Instagram, etc.) to drive bookings.
- Log guest interactions into CRM systems for personalized future offers.
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on booking sources, ADR, and revenue forecasts.
- Identify booking patterns and recommend promotional strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or Travel & Tourism Management.
- 1–3 years of experience in hospitality, reservations, or revenue management.
- Strong sales skills with ability to convert leads and upsell services.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in PMS software, Channel Managers, and booking platforms (SiteMinder, Booking.com, Airbnb).
- Familiarity with CRM systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and professional demeanor.
