Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Senior Account Manager for a full-time, on-site position based in Kathmandu. This role involves overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure fiscal health and alignment with organizational goals. Key tasks include preparing financial reports, analyzing investment opportunities, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Senior Finance Manager will collaborate with leadership to craft strategic financial decisions and drive the organization's success.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations of the factory including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Ensure accurate recording of daily production data, including quantities produced, raw materials used, and labor hours, to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Collaborate with the production team to verify the accuracy of production entries and address any discrepancies.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes for the factory.
- Monitor and control factory expenses to optimize cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal control procedures.
- Develop and maintain standard costing systems for the factory.
- Conduct variance analysıs to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor and report on inventory levels, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Implement and oversee inventory control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audits. ensuring timely and accurate submission of required documentation.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- mentor, and develop the factory accounting team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives.
- Provides detailed financial reports and analysis to the CFO. aiding in strategic decision-making at the corporate level.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Forecasting
- Should be CA
- 4-5 yrs of experience in managerial role in manufacturing company
- Expertise in Financial Reporting and Compliance
- Proficiency in Risk Management and Investment Analysis
- Advanced knowledge of Accounting Principles and Software
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
