Job Description
The role entails Sales Manager responsible for Snacks sales and distribution management in Gandaki Province ensuring achievement of sales target achievement, collections and dispatch, train and motivate sales team and provide strategic inputs to Management.

  • Sales Target Achievement: Drive sales to meet topline and bottom-line goals through strategic planning, budgeting, payment collection, and inventory control.
  • Market Share Growth: Identify opportunities, expand market presence, Dealer/Distributer onboarding, and execute effective sales and marketing strategies in coordination with management.
  • Operational Cost Optimization: Control sales operations, trade and redistribution expenses, manage claims, and ensure efficient use of promotional resources, damage control and throw rotation.
  • Talent Development and mobilization: Lead, train, and motivate the sales team while addressing performance and employee concerns promptly. Manage job rotations and prepare role descriptions to ensure optimal staffing and productivity.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor actions to inform strategic sales decisions.
  • Production Coordination: Liaise with factory teams on product quality, packaging, and managing slow-moving stock.
  • Dispatch Planning: Organize and prioritize daily distributor order dispatches in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Excellent Reporting: Must have excellent technical proficiency in reporting tools, methods and analytics for insightful business decisions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 10+ years of proven experience in FMCG sales and distribution management (Preferably RSM in Edibles items, Snacks, Breakfast cereals etc,).
  • Minimum bachelor’s in business management/marketing & Sales or relevant field
  • Strong track record in achieving sales targets, brand launch and growing market share.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in sales planning, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market trends.
  • Experience in team development and talent retention.
