Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Officer specializing in the Outsourcing and Call Center industry. The position is based in Kathmandu and involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, analyzing market trends, and preparing financial proposals. The officer will work closely with clients to ensure top-notch customer service and contribute to the overall growth and strategic planning of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in BPO and call center services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential leads
- Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations
- Collaborate with operations and account management teams to ensure service alignment
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets
- Represent the company at meetings, networking events, and industry engagements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 2–3 years of experience in business development, preferably in outsourcing or call center industry
- Strong understanding of BPO services, customer support operations, and sales processes
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to generate leads through multiple channels including LinkedIn, email outreach, and networking
- Results-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
