Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a UK Counselor located in Kathmandu. The UK Counselor will guide and assist students in pursuing higher education opportunities in the United Kingdom. Responsibilities include providing consultations, evaluating academic profiles, preparing application documents, and ensuring compliance with application and visa requirements. Additionally, the role involves working closely with institutions, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of UK education systems, and delivering excellent client service.
Qualifications
- Strong counseling and advisory skills to assist students in identifying appropriate educational programs and institutions
- Proficiency in reviewing academic credentials, guiding through application procedures, and assisting with visa formalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients
- Understanding of UK education systems, policies, and cultural considerations
- Proven organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Proficiency with necessary software and tools for managing client data and applications
- Experience in the education consultancy field is preferred but not required
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Education, Counseling, or International Relations)
