Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth assessments of candidates’ qualifications, experience, and career goals to determine eligibility for international nursing programs.
- Guide candidates through the full pathway to licensure (e.g., NCLEX, NMC, AHPRA, etc.) and ensure a clear understanding of examination requirements, documentation, and timelines.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding immigration processes, including visa requirements, legal documentation, and relocation support.
- Maintain consistent, empathetic communication with candidates to ensure engagement, retention, and satisfaction throughout the counseling process.
- Plan and deliver workshops, webinars, and one-on-one sessions focused on career development, interview preparation, licensing procedures, and job readiness.
- Monitor changes in international healthcare regulations, immigration laws, and nursing licensure standards to ensure compliance and accurate advisement.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to facilitate successful placements and candidate onboarding.
- Maintain detailed documentation of counseling sessions, candidate progress, and follow-ups using CRM or case management tools.
- Represent the organization at job fairs, educational seminars, and networking events to promote services and attract qualified candidates.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in career counseling, healthcare recruitment, or international student services (preferably in the nursing or medical sector).
- Deep understanding of international licensure processes and immigration protocols is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and documentation skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM or counseling management systems.
