Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef, based in Janakpur. The Chef will be responsible for creating diverse and high-quality menus, preparing meals to the company’s standards, and managing kitchen operations. Key duties include overseeing food preparation, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring timely delivery of dishes to customers. The Chef will also be expected to plan and experiment with new recipes to enhance the overall dining experience.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in cooking techniques, food preparation, and culinary skills
- Menu planning, recipe development, and knowledge of diverse cuisines
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen management practices
- Experience in team leadership, including training and managing kitchen staff
- Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Formal culinary education or relevant certification is preferred
- Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant industry is a plus
