Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Media Manager, located in Bhaktapur. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating, implementing, and managing the school’s social media content. Daily tasks include developing content strategies, optimizing posts for social media platforms, engaging with the community, and monitoring the performance of social media campaigns.


Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) with a clear, cohesive voice and visual identity.

Develop and execute creative marketing campaigns that reflect the school’s mission, culture, and values.

Create original content including photography, videos, reels, stories, and graphics, for social media, website, and other digital platforms.

Capture and highlight everyday moments, student achievements, school events, and behind-the-scenes activities to tell our school’s unique story.

Collaborate with school departments to gather information and promote academic programs, extracurriculars, and community events.

Monitor trends, engagement metrics, and audience behavior to continuously improve digital presence and reach.

Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and printed/digital materials.

Occasionally assist in event coordination, media relations, and community outreach activities.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)
  • Strong Communication and Writing skills
  • Experience in developing effective Content Strategies
  • Ability to engage with the community and monitor social media performance
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Familiarity with educational environments is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
