Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts & Finance Manager to join their team in Butwal, Nepal. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and contributing to strategic financial planning.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Accounts & Finance team, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of all financial transactions.
- Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Nepali accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including timely payments to vendors and collection of customer payments.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, securing favorable financing terms.
- Conduct financial analysis, prepare budgets and forecasts, and provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage tax planning and ensure timely filing of all tax returns.
- Oversee external audits and maintain positive relationships with auditors.
- Stay updated on relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve financial efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree or Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a managerial role within the Accounts & Finance department of a cement manufacturing company.
- Strong understanding of Nepali accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally.ERP 9) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
