Job Description
Technical Support
- Assist senior technicians or engineers in testing, assembling, repairing, or maintaining equipment or machinery.
- Help with the setup, calibration, and inspection of tools, instruments, and devices.
- Provide on-site or field assistance during installations or service visits (as required).
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, calibration, inventory, or testing data.
- Prepare technical reports, manuals, and data sheets under guidance.
- Ensure proper documentation of procedures, job cards, or work orders.
Maintenance & Inventory
- Keep technical tools, lab/workshop equipment, and workspaces clean, safe, and operational.
- Monitor and manage stock levels of spare parts and consumables.
- Report faulty equipment and assist in troubleshooting minor issues.
Administrative & Coordination Support
- Coordinate with internal departments for material movement, job status updates, and scheduling.
- Assist in organizing files, technical drawings, manuals, and safety compliance records.
- Follow standard operating procedures and company quality and safety guidelines.
Job Specification
Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems
- Ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot tools and equipment
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic data entry
- Ability to fill out logbooks, forms, or job cards clearly
