Job Description

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and target potential institutional clients.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Present company products/services to institutional clients and respond to RFPs or tenders.
  • Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for institutional clients.
  • Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Ensure timely delivery and after-sales support.

Market Research & Strategy

  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
  • Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams.
  • Suggest pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to win institutional business.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of sales, leads, customer feedback, and market trends.
  • Submit regular sales reports to the management team.
  • Ensure all contracts and documentation are complete and in compliance with company policies.
Job Specification

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of sales processes, lead generation, and deal closing
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to prepare and respond to RFQs, tenders, and proposals
  • Knowledge of contract negotiation and institutional procurement procedures.
