Job Description
The Senior Sales & Marketing Officer is responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening market presence, and supporting brand visibility through structured sales execution and targeted marketing initiatives. The role requires hands-on sales ownership, client relationship management, and contribution to marketing strategy execution.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities through outbound and inbound channels
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle including lead generation, client meetings, proposal preparation, negotiation, and deal closure
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention, upselling, and cross-selling
- Prepare and present customized solutions aligned with client needs and company offerings
- Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Maintain accurate sales data, pipeline updates, and reports in CRM or tracking systems
Marketing Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns to generate leads and improve brand visibility
- Coordinate with internal teams for content creation, promotional materials, and digital marketing activities
- Conduct basic market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential growth areas
- Represent the company at client meetings, events, exhibitions, and networking forums when required
Coordination & Process
- Collaborate with technical, support, and implementation teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for clients
- Provide regular feedback to management on market insights, customer expectations, and service gaps
- Follow defined sales SOPs, reporting structures, and compliance guidelines
Leadership & Mentorship
- Guide and support junior sales or marketing staff when assigned
- Share best practices, sales techniques, and market knowledge with the team
Job Specification
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Management, IT, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in IT services, cybersecurity, or technology-related companies
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to understand technical products and translate them into customer value
