Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales and Service Engineer to expand our presence in the medical industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, providing technical support, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets for medical equipment and related services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain contacts with potential clients in the medical industry to generate new business opportunities.
- Identify potential customers, qualify leads, and assess their needs and purchasing potential.
- Provide technical expertise to prospective and existing customers by explaining product features, capabilities, and benefits.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of the company’s medical equipment and service offerings and communicate them effectively to clients.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to understand requirements, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare sales reports and analyze sales performance and numerical data.
- Respond to client queries regarding products and services in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure timely and regular collection of payments for goods delivered to customers.
- Deliver technical presentations and product/service demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Coordinate with sales and technical teams to secure new orders, renew existing contracts, and ensure proper delivery and installation.
- Identify opportunities for product and service improvement and collaborate with engineering teams to enhance customer value.
- Assist the Senior Business Development Officer (BDO) in preparing and executing the company’s marketing and sales plans.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, Electronics Engineering, BBA, or a related field, with a strong understanding of technical concepts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Solid understanding of the medical industry and healthcare-related products/services.
- Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to perform under pressure.
- Tactful, proactive, creative, and highly motivated to achieve sales targets.
- Soft-spoken with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to identify potential clients and business opportunities.
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and fieldwork.
- Comfortable with rigorous follow-ups and passionate about a career in sales.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must own a two-wheeler vehicle and hold a valid driving license.
