Job Description
- Identify and prioritize target industries and client segments aligned with the BPO’s service portfolio, as well as emerging market opportunities.
- Prospect and engage potential clients through calls, emails, networking activities, industry events, and referral channels.
- Build, manage, and maintain a qualified sales pipeline through outbound outreach, strategic partnerships, and inbound lead conversion.
- Develop client proposals, statements of work (SOWs), and pricing models in close coordination with operations, finance, and delivery teams.
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial engagement and needs assessment through negotiation and deal closure.
- Serve as the primary point of contact during the pre-sales stage and support early transition and onboarding activities.
- Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing client accounts to drive account growth.
- Align business development objectives with operational capacity, workforce planning, and service delivery capabilities.
- Coordinate with internal teams on branding, marketing initiatives, and partnership development efforts.
- Prepare and present regular sales performance reports and market insights to senior management.
- Forecast revenue, contribute to strategic planning, and support long-term growth initiatives.
- Ensure all proposals, contracts, and commercial activities comply with legal, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- Two to three years of business development or sales experience in a BPO, IT-enabled services, or outsourcing environment.
- Proven ability to manage full sales cycles and close outsourcing deals.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and proposal-writing skills.
- Experience with sales analytics, reporting, and forecasting tools.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
