Job Description

The British School Kathmandu is seeking to recruit dynamic, creative, and caring staff members who are committed to the pursuit of excellence in an exciting and unique international school environment.

TBS is a culturally diverse international school, representing students from 30 different countries around the world. We are inviting applications for the following positions for the academic year 2026/27.

Position: Music Teacher

Level: Secondary

Required Number: 1

Qualification

  • Recognized teaching qualification and a Bachelor’s degree. QTS, PGCE with QTS, ECT, or equivalent qualification is desirable.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years successful teaching experience with students from diverse learning needs and cultural backgrounds.

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of effective formative and summative assessment.

  • Experience in a British school, or a school delivering a British-style curriculum, is desirable.
