Job Description
  • Should have completed Masters Degree in HR management or in related field with 8 years of experience.
  • Preference will be given to those who have been shouldering similar role and holding senior management responsibility;Committed to rights based and gender sensitive work, knowledgeable on core humanitarian standards.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) both in English and Nepali languages are required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop with line managers HR planning stategies which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements.
  • Promote equity, equality, and diversity as part of the culture of the organization.
  • Undertake regular salary reviews, and advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits.
  • Analyze training needs in conjuction with line managers and result of staff performance review/ appraisal.
  • Ensure and support the useful/ meaning staff performance review/ appraisal which promote organizational learning and improvement while increase competency of individual staff and team works.
  • Dealing with grievances and implement disciplinary procedures.
  • Develop and implement policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, and grievance handling and disciplinary procedures.
  • Assist Country Director on human resources policies, programs, and practices.
