Kunyo.co continually works to strengthen relationships with partners by offering better services, choices, and competitive prices.Role Description The Travel Agency Specialist is a part-time, hybrid role based in Kathmandu, with the flexibility to perform some responsibilities from home. In this role, the specialist will assist customers in planning and booking domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, and packages. Day-to-day tasks include recommending destinations and itineraries, coordinating guided tours, managing reservations, and handling changes or cancellations. The specialist will communicate with clients via phone, email, and online platforms, provide prompt customer support, and promote travel services and offers to drive sales. Collaboration with internal teams and external partners is expected to ensure accurate information, timely confirmations, and high-quality travel experiences.
Qualifications
- Experience in Travel Agency operations, including itinerary planning and booking management.
- Knowledge of Guided Tours, including organizing, scheduling, and coordinating tour services.
- Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain client satisfaction.
- Sales abilities, including upselling travel packages, promoting offers, and meeting sales targets.
- Understanding of Business Travel needs, such as corporate bookings, policy compliance, and travel documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Nepali.
- Comfort with online platforms, booking tools, and digital payment systems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
- Previous experience in travel, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup, maintaining reliability and professionalism both on-site and remotely.
