Role Description The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling raw video footage into engaging, high-quality content for marketing campaigns and client projects. Day-to-day tasks include organizing footage, applying color grading, adding motion graphics and text overlays, synchronizing audio, and ensuring videos meet brand guidelines and project objectives. The role involves close collaboration with the creative, marketing, and production teams to interpret briefs, propose visual ideas, and deliver videos optimized for multiple digital platforms. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu, requiring consistent presence at the office for coordination, reviews, and production planning.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading for visual consistency and quality.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for creating dynamic visual elements.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Ability to follow brand guidelines, interpret creative briefs, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, visual storytelling ability, and basic understanding of digital marketing content formats (social media, ads, reels, shorts).
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to receive and incorporate feedback constructively.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience with a portfolio showcasing video work.
