Job Summary:
Seven to Nine Coffee is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Barista to join and lead our vibrant coffee team. The ideal candidate will not only craft exceptional coffee but also manage daily operations, lead junior staff, and ensure the café maintains its high standards of service and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
Oversee daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Ensure cleanliness, organization, and smooth workflow throughout the shift.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for stock replenishment.
Barista Duties
Prepare high-quality coffee and espresso-based beverages consistently.
Maintain and clean coffee machines and brewing equipment.
Stay updated with modern brewing methods and trends.
Team Supervision & Training
Lead, train, and supervise junior baristas and café staff.
Schedule shifts and manage team attendance and punctuality.
Foster a positive and motivated team culture.
Customer Service
Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues promptly.
Build strong rapport with regular customers and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
Handle special orders, feedback, and ensure overall customer satisfaction.
Reporting & Coordination
Report daily sales and performance summaries to management.
Coordinate promotional or seasonal beverage launches with the marketing team.
Job Specification
Requirements:
Proven experience (2+ years) as a Barista or in a similar leadership role.
Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, grinders, and espresso machines.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
Passionate about coffee and hospitality.
Basic skills in MS Excel/Point of Sale systems is a plus.
Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays.
