Job Description
Seven to Nine Café is looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Café Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure excellent customer service, and drive overall business performance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining quality standards, and creating a welcoming environment for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the café, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Manage and supervise café staff, including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring
- Ensure high standards of customer service and handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in compliance with regulations
- Manage cash handling, billing, and daily financial reporting
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction
- Plan and execute promotional activities and events to attract customers
- Ensure quality control of food and beverages served
- Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely delivery
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Café Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer applications (MS Office)
