Job Description

The Front Desk Officer is responsible for managing front office operations, welcoming clients and visitors, handling incoming calls, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day office functioning.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner.
  • Assist visitors in navigating the office premises and direct them to the appropriate departments.
  • Maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting visitor badges and maintaining accurate visitor logs.
  • Responsible for preparing, maintaining, and managing documentation-related tasks.
  • Answer, screen, forward, and route phone calls professionally and efficiently.
  • Perform administrative tasks including copying, filing, faxing, note-taking, and other office-related arrangements.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Support colleagues with administrative duties and assist with university-related documentation as required.
Job Specification
  • Higher Secondary (+2 ) completed or bachelor’s degree in progress.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience

Other Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field will be an advantage.
  • Prior experience as a receptionist or in a similar role preferred.
  • Professional appearance, attire, and conduct.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Office Schedule

  • Morning Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Evening Shift: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
