- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate with people from all backgrounds
- Preferred knowledge of accounting software (Swastik,Tally)
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Possess a knowledge of Trade Finance
- Semi-qualified Chartered accountant/ ACCA will be given top priority
Job Description
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Manage imports through LC, DAP, TT and RTGS and prepare necessary documents and deal with the bank regarding the same
- Analyze raw material consumption and finished goods production reports from factory and analyze variance and ensure control
- Summarize stock reports and analyze variances
- Reconcile creditors & debtors accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Prepare balance sheets and profit/loss statements on monthly and quarterly basis
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Prepare Projected Balance Sheet and other Financial Statements
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Prepare bank reports as per requirement and submit on timely basis
- Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements
- Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice
- Assist subodinates and provide necessary accounting knowledge if required
